The 30-minute performance was a reaction to the coup d’etat that took place in Thailand in May 2014. Performed in a festival/party style, the show satirized Thai traditions and the coup, and mocked Thai mainstream reactions that rejoiced in the “peace and happiness” that the army claims to have brought to the country.
